It’s been long, but we’ve got two new vids!

Actually, it’s only one new vid, but it took me too long to actually post one of my vids, so it’s technically new as well. Oh well. Whatever. =P

The old-new vid, as it were, is a Michael/Holly vid for The Office. It’s my personal tribute to them, since I find them so unbelievably perfect for each other.

The new-new vid, as the Doctor would say it, is a Doctor Who vid for Ten and Nine that’s been in the works for quite some time now. It’s just that I happened to stop editing at 1:30 a long time ago and the Curse of the 1:30 Mark struck me (backstory: my theory is, if you stop vidding around 1:30, then you’re either gonna take forever to finish it, or you’ll just never finish it at all!).
Luckily, Pooky and I broke the curse (YAY us!) and I finally finished it.

And here it is.

We have a latest addition to our ever-growing list of fandoms: Legend of the Seeker!
It’s a great show, one that I greatly reccomend to everyone who enjoys fantasy movies/books such as Lord of the Rings or Eragon.

The vid is about the main couple of the show (and the latest to my personal list of OTPs), Richard and Kahlan. The show itself is still at the beginning, but you’d be surprised at how much those two have already been through. Honestly!
For those of you not ready to jump to a new fandom just yet, there’s also a new Doctor Who vid around.

I mean, sure, it’s not really new, but I’m just announcing it now, so whatever.

Even though we haven’t been so active in the last few months, thanks for all the comments and support for our little website here. We’ll keep trying to be around as much as we can on 2009.

Both Pooky and Pinky have been away on their little vacations this last few months, but at least Pooky came back this week to help me vid. I made a new Doctor Who vid and I’m already working on a new one as we speak.
I guess, this must be his Christmas present to me, then eh?

Anyway, here we have a new Doctor Who vid, and I’m also taking this oportunity and adding a Colbert vid I made way back in October as a birthday gift to myself as well.

So, again, from the staff of Perfect Harmony (aka Ana and me), I say to you all: Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

So… things have been going quite slow around here lately.
Apparently, both Pinky and Pooky (aka our resident muses) are on vacation. Either that or they’re planning on taking over the world… which, by the way, would actually be like vacations to them since they’d have so much fun doing it.
This of course means no new videos for you people to enjoy, though I can assure you it’s not for lack of trying on our part! Like I said, Pinky and Pooky are going all Butch and Sundance out there somewhere and left Ana and I here alone. But we’re still here. Waiting.

Anyway, this is just a post to tell you people we’re alive, and that I’ve updated the Vidding Glossary with 3 more terms: AMV, Talking Heads, and Vegas.

Oh, and just in case anyone happens to see Pinky or Pooky out there somewhere… Tell them we miss them.

ALOHA!!!

So glad to see new stuff by Ana on this site, isn’t it? And now it’s my turn!

This is my latest creation, the sequel to my “By The Way” vid about Jack from LOST and Cameron from House. I’d never done a sequel vid before, it was quite fun! It’s the same storyline from By The Way, and it’s told again from Jack’s POV… I guess I worked on it pretty much the same way I did with the first vid, only this time I couldn’t keep all the crossover edits on black and while, so I had to do some color matching on a few scenes from both shows and it was a bit tough…

Anyway, I hope you’ll enjoy it!

HELLO, GOOD PEOPLE!!!

That’s right! After months of the worst case of vidder’s block in the history of mankind…
Ana is back to the land of Harmony!

Oh my god, she’s ALIIIIIIIIVEEE!!! *crowd cheers*

… Okay, fine! NOT entirely true! I am back, yes… but I’m just giving the site a few fandom updates!
The block thing is also kinda true. I’ve been going through a major, major vidding crisis. I haven’t been able to make a proper video in months… only a few experiments (as you’ll see later on this post). I’ve started several different projects, but none came true.

I could blame it all on Pinky, my overly-excited-and-completely-nonsense muse… but his uncontrollable thirst for Photoshop wasn’t all that’s kept me from vidding over the last couple months. A certain vampire book trilogy has something to do with it as well… =p

Aaaaanyway… like I mentioned before, I was able to work on some experiments… 3 new Opening Credits to be more accurate!

One is an updated version of my Heroes credits, now centered on season 2…
And the other 2 are from PH’s newest fandom additions - Private Practice and Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles

Hope you guys like them!

Do you know when you make a vid just for the heck of it? You know, just ’cause it’s fun… And you often work on it in the background, while you’re working on other, more important projects, ’cause you feel like this one is just for fun and it’s nothing groundbreakingly fantastic or anything?

Well, this was supposed to be the case here.

I started working on it around June or July last year. I finished it yesterday. And there’s absolutely nothing about it that would suggest the need to work on it for more than two weeks, at most! But you know what happened with this vid? EVERY SINGLE FREAKING THING THAT COULD POSSIBLY HAPPEN WITH A VID!
I started working on it with MM, MM obviously froze more than it’s humanly possible, I lost inspiration, I started again on Vegas, I lost inspiration again, I started over again, Pooky (aka my muse) ran away, Pooky came back, I started over again, I deleted all my clips, I got all my clips again, I chose another song, I started over again, Pooky ran away again, I chose another song, I deleted all my clips again, Vegas started freezing and all around acting in MM standards (even worse than MM sometimes, actually, if you think about it… ’cause it wouldn’t open), I FINALLY manage to complete the vid, two editing programs, three songs, nine months and a gazillion problems later.

And you can be absolutely certain that the only reason I went through all this is because I love Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert way too much!

Hopefully, all the fight was worthwhile! (well, it certainly was for me!)

Actually, I was going to say “Happy new year” before, when I’d posted my new vid that I finished at the start of the year, but now it’s a few weeks later and I realized I never actually got to do either. So sorry about that!
So, again, Happy New Year! And about that vid, well, it’s an extremely shippy vid (I’m not very good with those, but I think I did well with this one) about Pushing Daises, our newest fandom.

Say hello to a new vid!

And, actually, along with it come a few changes to this site. Well, one change… but still.

This website was originally created as a sister site to Return to Innocence, where all our Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings vids were supposed to go. Recently, however, there has been too many cases of clip and vid theft on the site… Seriously, WAY too many. More than I can handle.
So because of that, I’ll be temporarily posting my new HP and LOTR vids here instead. Just for now.

And with that, we come to our new vid for the day: a Sirius Black vid!
