Jon, I don’t fake anything on *my* show!
Do you know when you make a vid just for the heck of it? You know, just ’cause it’s fun… And you often work on it in the background, while you’re working on other, more important projects, ’cause you feel like this one is just for fun and it’s nothing groundbreakingly fantastic or anything?
Well, this was supposed to be the case here.
I started working on it around June or July last year. I finished it yesterday. And there’s absolutely nothing about it that would suggest the need to work on it for more than two weeks, at most! But you know what happened with this vid? EVERY SINGLE FREAKING THING THAT COULD POSSIBLY HAPPEN WITH A VID!
I started working on it with MM, MM obviously froze more than it’s humanly possible, I lost inspiration, I started again on Vegas, I lost inspiration again, I started over again, Pooky (aka my muse) ran away, Pooky came back, I started over again, I deleted all my clips, I got all my clips again, I chose another song, I started over again, Pooky ran away again, I chose another song, I deleted all my clips again, Vegas started freezing and all around acting in MM standards (even worse than MM sometimes, actually, if you think about it… ’cause it wouldn’t open), I FINALLY manage to complete the vid, two editing programs, three songs, nine months and a gazillion problems later.
And you can be absolutely certain that the only reason I went through all this is because I love Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert way too much!
Hopefully, all the fight was worthwhile! (well, it certainly was for me!)
